There is something about a platter full of crispy and light golden spring rolls that is just un-explainable. When you bite into that flavorful filling, it’s like you are eating away your troubles. A perfect spring roll can bring tears of joy even in the eyes of a meat lover. It’s their versatile nature that makes spring rolls a much loved favorite all around the world. Serve it as snack, as a side dish with your favorite Chinese dish or even as a complete meal. Pair it with a beautiful and delicious dipping sauce and you’ll keep on wanting more.

Ingredients:

• 1 packet of store bought spring roll skins

• 1 medium sized cabbage

• 2 medium sized capsicums

• 1 large carrot

• 1 cup shredded and boiled chicken

• 1 ½ tbsp oyster sauce

•1 tbsp of soy sauce

• 1 tbsp of Worcester sauce

• 1 chicken cube

• ¾ tsp of salt

• ¼ tsp of red pepper

• 1 ½ tsp of black pepper

• 1 clove of garlic (chopped)

• ½ inch of ginger (chopped)

Method:

Fry the garlic and ginger in a wok for a few seconds and the add the vegetables. Next add the chicken and fry for a minute or so. Add all the other ingredients and continue frying for one more minute. Take it off the heat and cool it down. Fill the skins and deep fry in hot oil till nice and crispy.
